Enabling / Disabling Device Lock:

  1. While viewing a home screen, press the "Menu" key
  2. Press "Settings"
  3. Tap "Phone settings"
  4. Select "Security"
  5. Under "Lock phone" tap "On" or "Off" to enable or disable phone lock
  6. Enter your current password then tap "Confirm" to save the changes

Changing the Device's Lock Password:

  1. Tap the "Menu" button while on a home screen
  2. Go to "Settings" and tap "Phone settings"
  3. Select "Security"
  4. Scroll down and press "Change passwprd"
  5. Enter your current password then press "Confirm"
  6. Type-in your new password then tap "Confirm"
  7. Once again, re-type your new password and confirm

Enable / Disable SIM PIN:

  1. While viewing a home screen, press the "Menu" button on your device
  2. Select "Settings"
  3. Tap "Phone settings" then go to "Security"
  4. Under the "Check PIN code" section, tap "On" or "Off" to enable or disable the SIM PIN
  5. Type in your current password and then press "Confirm"

Changing the SIM PIN:

  1. Tap the "Menu" key while on a home screen
  2. Go to "Settings" > "Phone settings"
  3. Tap "Security"
  4. Scroll to and tap "Change PIN code"
  5. Type in your current PIN code then tap "Confirm"
  6. Enter a new PIN and then press "Confirm"
  7. Re-enter your new PIN and confirm
