If buying my girlfriend an SGS5 would be the only way to make her happy, then I'd have serious relationship issues, and not necessarily because the phone is not even out yet, anywhere.

I preordered the Galaxy S5 from Amazon. They charged me $ 190 + $ 12 sales tax with a 2 year contract.

With 2 lines and 2 Gb data it will cost me $ 100 per month. I had an ATT Store rep run up the total cost with me buying from ATT Store and from Amazon and they came up with $ 110 per month buying from ATT and only $ 100 per month buying from Amazon. Thus, I purchased it from Amazon.

My Amazon order shows it will be released on Apr 11, 2014, and they will have it delivered to me by Apr 15, 2014.

without contract the phone is around 600 USD, don't forget there is a better premium version and a mini version coming out in 2 months or so it might be worth waiting for them...

The official price for the Samsung Galaxy S5 is £579 but as usual you can get it cheaper than that.
