GT-C3350 - Desperately need to get messages back

Hi all,

My friend has a Samsung GT-C3350 and has deleted his text messages by accident. This was a particularly dumb move because he needs the texts for a court case.

Can any of you tell me how I might get the data back?

I have strong IT skills but have little experience with skills so please let me know even the more convoluted ideas.

Unless the messages were backed up somewhere it's going to be very difficult to recover them. He would probably need to take the phone to a specialist that specializes in data recovery. With some phones you can run software that is designed to recover deleted files, but they usually run on Android or iOS. This phone does not run either.
