Greetings,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S Blaze and am looking to replace it with an unlocked phone. I am on T-Mobile. The problem is I can't figure out what technology T-Mobile uses. All information says they are GSM but if I put my phone in GSM-Only mode, I have no cell signal, I get a circle with a line through it in the status bar. If I change the phone to CDMA-Only, it works fine. Why the conflicting information? Also, the tech. specs for this phone states that it's GSM but in fact will do either technology.
So, my question is, why am I getting conflicting evidence? Why will my phone not work at all when I switch it to GSM only mode? Any ideas?
