It will void the warranty of the set if you flashed it ?

It's so disappointed that Samsung didnt add JAVa in this v200.

i have read about this on howardforums.com regarding the java. still not available yet. i think there was a person that we re-writing the code or something to support java. can't verify if this is true or not, only read about it. the only other option to get java is get another phone...lol. just joking. to answer the question about warranty, yes...flashing will void your warranty. but t-mo is already not honoring warranty on any phone that is not sold on their website. EVEN if the phone is still under warranty, horrible warranty procedures. they wouldn't warranty a customer's phone that was purchased less than month ago (it was a nokia 8290). they were stating that the phone was discontinued, etc., so no replacement or upgrade. but they were willing to sell the customer another 8290 for $100 and of course...no warranty. how thoughtful of them. flashing is a safe but detailed procedure. as long as you read and re-read the directions, you should have no trouble with flashing. i have done tons of firmware flashes (on most samsung models) and have never had a phone die on me.
