In my opinion they are just polyphonic ringtones. They really dont sound that great.

There's 2 in the .mmf thread. I still haven't figured out how to add wav to them, but they're "voice ringtones" nonetheless.

I think they are an mmf file with a wav file overlayed. I have found a couple but have no idea how they were created.

i think what u mean is a PCM stream mmf.
they can be of yamaha ma3 (40poly) or ma5 (64poly) format.
human voice can be played as a ringtone.
such mmf are made by converting wav files into mmf.
however, phone are not designed to take large files. heard the upcoming D series samsung can take 100k file
