My SCH-2400 is pretty well beat up cosmetically. I have the opportunity
to purchase another 2400 in new condition for about $10 . My question is this, how difficult would it be to change out the internals of the old phone and install in the new.
Thanks

No one has any input to give me on this subject?

It won't matter - If you're worried about losing your contacts and voice dials, don't worry - everything is transferred from your current phone to your new phone - I've been down the same road.

Just replace the faceplate. You will be fine.

The Sanyo SCP-2400 does not use faceplates.

Um, not very difficult, Also depending on your provider, most of the time if you activate yourself (online) there is no charge.
If you cant, Call them, say you tried online and it didnt work and 99% of the time they waive the fee.
If you are using a sim card, you just plug it into the new phone and all your settings are moved.

Re: SCH-2400- Housing replacement
There would be no activation fee, unless you are signing up for a new contract... You can get a new phone, and all your info will be transferred to the new phone... I don't know why you would want the insides of a beat up phone in a new phone...
PS If you get the new phone, I recommend the leather case so you don't have to get any more new phones.
