Greetings people... Newbie here...
Grrrrrrrrrrr... OK, just got a NEW SCP-7050, DL'd bitpim v1.0.0 and see there is no current driver in the SW for this phone. I was able to DL the USB driver for W2k, and all is good there.
Anyone have any ideas for this newbie? Tnks...
UPDATE: Oh, and this phone has a USB connection and it looks like bitpim is COM port only. Am I SOL?

Re: SCP-7050 and Bitpim...
Hmmmmmmmm... 113 views at this point, and no answers? OK... Well, I did find that bitpim v1.0.0 does support USB but still can't find anything on my phone. Guess it's only been out for about 3 months, so not really surprised. And the bitpim support is so 80's!!! The forum is hard to work with and there's no way get an answer except thru that format. I kept getting errors when trying to submit. Oh well...
And if anyone has any other suggestions for me, I'm all ears!

Re: SCP-7050 and Bitpim...
Yep... this is also the brick wall I'm running into. All I want to do is back my addy book and make changes to it on the PC. I do have the USB cable and driver, from Sprint! (the driver is needed to charge the phone via the USB cable. drop me an email if you need the driver. [seymore111ATgmailDOTcom] But the 3rd party support is non-existent for this phone so far. Guess we can only hope someone figures this phone out.
