I bought this brand new CDMA Sprint Sanyo SCP-7050 cell phone (everything still neatly packed in plastic bags) on Ebay. Only issue here is the phone had already been programmed but the seller had not mentionned it. Called Sprint and they told me that they cannot supply MSL code to re-program it; furthermore they did not provide me with any reasons why. Found out that the original service provider went out of business some time ago and the person who sold me the phone also said he bought this and other phones from the company's clearout sale. Does this mean I bought a cell phone that can never be re-activated or does anybody have a solution to my problem (unlocking code or something). Any help will be appreciated !!!!!

Re: Sprint Sanyo SCP-7050 MSL code problem
NO I never did. Tried buying in on some service companies specialized in un-locking phones but it never worked. Its been sitting on my desk for the last year or so. I will never buy a phone again on Ebay.
