Lately, there have been several scammers on Ebay trying to sell some phones but they don't send them to you, the very next day you pay for the item the users dissappear from ebay just like that.

I was the victim on one of these scams trying to buy a Moto Razr V3i, there are similar scammers selling popular hot cell phones like the D&G Gold V3i, the MP220, the LG chocolate, etc.

Yeah, I filed a claim on paypal, but they take 10 days to get my money, minus some fee.

Some hints for not getting scammed on ebay.

- Make sure the seller is a powerseller and has a lot of time selling on ebay.
- A seller with 0 feedback is a sure scam
- If the item is very popular atm, and the price is too goo to be true.
- Some of these sellers do have feedback, but they got it buying some very cheap items that do not require shipping to get their feedback score up.
- Make sure they have a real photo of the item sold, not just a stock photo, preferably with some proof they have it in their possesion.

This is the first time I got scammed, I wish ebay had better control of sellers.
