Beware of Scams involving the sale of new gadgets like iPhones and Blackberrys

I have recently been scammed out of money while trying to purchase an iPhone. Only afterwards did I find out about the methods they use and what to look out for.

If you are thinking about reacting to an advert on the Net, please search for the following topic first: "Yahoo supporting online fraud for mobile phone sales?" Google would be sufficient, and have a read through in order to know what to look for and the telltale signs.

Hi guys,

If you are gonna buy a phone or any electronic device online, make sure that you buy from a Trusted website. Try to research first to see what other customers are saying and most imoprtantly, make sure the website is affiliated or endorsed by other Trusted sites as well.

We've been in the cellphone business for a while, and we have encountered numerous "companies" who are selling their phones for half the price that we usually offer. They were successful in snatching customers with their incredible prices, but those people who bought from them later figure out that they were sold refurbished phones and fake accessories(e.g Batteries, Headphones, etc) and some just plainly took their money and ran.
