Hi!
I recently got a t-mobile samsung galaxy blaze. It wasnt advertized as unlocked and I planned on unlocking it myself since I was just about to switch from t-mobile to consumer cellular. The phone didnt work with my t-mobile sim card. Is this because it actually was unlocked? Will it work with my new consumer cellular sim? I wont be able to try it because I need to send the blaze back to get a refund if it doesnt work before the new sim is supposed to get here.
Can anyone help??
Thanks!!!
Asher

Re: Phone problems!!
The phone should have worked with your T-Mobile SIM card. Is it possible that there is something wrong with your SIM card? Also, some carriers can stop a phone from being activated if it is lost or stolen. I know CDMA carriers (Verizon Wireless, Sprint, etc) do that, but I'm not sure how it works with GSM carriers (AT&T, T-Mobile). If they can block it, it is possible it is on the lost or stolen list. I would try a different SIM card, if possible, and check with the seller to make sure the phone isn't considered lost or stolen.
