Not only will mods delete such posts (which means you'll lose the CPF$ you got for posting them), people also got banned for posting nonsense-messages.
Wounld't want that, now would we?

I'm still not clear as to how I get graphics and wallpaper downloaded to my phone. By posting a reply I earn CPF money right? How do I spend it on a wallpaper? I'm goin into the graphics/wallpaper forum and check out whats in there, so if someone has posted a pic I like, how does it get to my phone? Thanks in advance.

Then transfer it to your phone via datacable/IR/BT.
Or, you can upload the picture to free webspace like geocities, tripod, whatever; type the path (e.g. http://www.geocities.com/yourusername/picture.jpg ) into your phone's WAP-browser and "surf" there. The phone recognizes the file as a picture and lets you download it.
Hope that helps,

Publishing ringtones
Hi guys,
Say I had a load of ringtones lurking on a wap site I already had, how would I go about putting them up here so I could make CPFs (or whatever the name is for the unit of credits here) out of em?
Most of them I've taken, chopped off initial silence, shrunk so they'll fit into a Sharp GX10 and maxxed the volume on.

Another question, the midi's I've downloaded from other places and have not altered inn any way are obviously copyright to other people. Can I post them so long as I give full credit to the Authors? Or do I have to get their permission?
Also similar midi files I have spend some time on reworking, whats the position on copyright / my right to publish that work?
(by reworked, for example on one midi I spend days reworking the beginning of it to get rid of a long intro, truncated the length of the midi (making sure it sounds nice) and tweeked the volumes)? (Yes, days might seem like a very long time to do that to the experts, but this was my first attempt at learning how to do it all, and learning the various midi mangling s/w I had downloaded)

I know there's been trouble with people posting games (that's why zip-files are no longer allowed as attachments), but I don't recall anyone complaining about a midi being posted, even though the person who posted it hadn't sequenced it himself...
I'm no Mod or Admin, but I don't think that it would be much of a problem if you posted a midi you found elsewhere. Just look around, people do it all the time!
Of course, you can always credit the person who did make it, if you know their (screen-)name. No one's going to complain about that!
