why do some midis save as php files?

does anyone know why when i go to save some midis sometimes it saves as a .php file, and if so how do i stop it? cos it gets really annoying when i waste 25 cpf $

Have you tried to rename the file to .midi ???
I occasionally have this problem but renaming it usually fixes the file

hehe nah i havent tried that but that seems like the logical thing to do thanx man

If it re-names the file but doesn't change the 'extension' of the file, I can walk you through how to change your computer so it will change the extension when you re-name it - my computer used to just change the name.....

all you have to do is name it whateva.mid and save type as any file

Could you tell me how to do that. If i rename the file .mid. Media player tells me it can't read the file
