After being charged for going over my 3000 minutes, I finally got wise enough to look closer at my bill..low and behold sprint was charging me for sprint to sprint calls!! Their online bills download into an excel format and I was able to sort by numbers and found this HUGE amount of minutes..over 1000 that they were taking from my SO CALLED FREE SPRINT TO SPRINT ANYTIME MINUTES. I called their customer service department and spent over 2 hours being transferred from one idiot to another. Back in April they sent my an outrageous bill saying I had went over my then 2100 minute plan and being trusting they THEY COULD SOMEHOW BE HONEST I fell into the ole "We'll waive those overages if you resign a 2 year agreement" Which I did. Today I went back and looked at that April Bill and wasnt suprised to find that I wasnt over my minutes because they were charging me for sprint to sprint calls!!!!! CROOKS!!! I asked them to let me out of my contract that I was tricked into signing and you know they were not having that..or so they think...EVERYONE NEEDS TO GO LINE BY LINE AND CHECK THEIR BILLS..LOOK CLOSELY AT YOUR DETAILED USAGE AND YOU WILL FIND THAT EVER SO DESCREATLY THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR MINUTES THAT SHOULD BE FREE..NOT EVER TIME BUT JUST WHEN THEY THINK YOU ARE NOT LOOKING!! Mine added up to over 1000 for August and over 800 for April. I have 4 lines so my bill is long but it was worth the hours I spent researching to catch them red handed. I have my proof which is getting forwarded to Texas Attorney General,Better Business Bureau,FCC and The Dallas News. So to any SPRINT CUSTOMER SERVICE REP THAT READS THIS, LETS SEE WHO WINS

Kellyann, that's one heck of a story and I'm sorry to hear it. It certainly sounds like you got a raw deal on wireless and in light of that, I wanted to add that I can speak to reducing cell bills in particular. I work in the consumer advocacy division of the Houston-based company Validas, where we electronically audit and subsequently reduce the average cell bill by 22 percent through our website, fixmycellbill.com. Put simply, Validas guards against the frivolous and unnecessary charges that over-inflate an estimated 80 percent of cell bills. You can find out for free if fixmycellbill.com can modify your plan to better suit your individual needs by going to the website.

For more info, check out Validas in the new media, most recently on Fox News at myfoxtampabay.com/dpp/consumer/conlaw/lower_cell_phone_bills_072409 .

Good luck on further reducing those Sprint costs.
