Hi all
I would greatly appreciate any help in solving my issue.
I have a T39m and recently got a T-mobile SIM for prepaid service. No problems with the account --- I have 226 minutes on it.
I live in Madison WI which is a roaming zone for T-Mobile. The SIM provides me with the option of Voicestream as a service for my area.
However when I do the network search (manual or automatic) I get either Einstein or AT&T wireless. Can't override this -=-- don't know how. I have manually reset the phone to no avail.
Signal is good on either Einstein, a local provider or ATT. But I can't make any calls on these services. With ATT the calling process ends without any message or sound. With Einstein I get the call error signal.
Thanks in advance or any guidance on what to do
Harold

My T-39 self destructed. Best phone I ever had. Perhaps your phone needs to be flashed. What that is I don't rightly know , but it helps the phone recognize networks or something. There is a big bunch of Ericsson, T-39 info at Howards.
