Buying handset is just like buying other things like a PDA or a PC or whatever. Get all the info b4 you purchase, if you didn't then blame yourselves and not the manufacturer.

Each phone is cater for different users.

I like m T300, through the magic of infrared, you can put any midi file, providing you have space. I deleted all the ones that were in the phone to begin with.

I'm am also very positive over the t300. The infrared function is very useful. The new nokia 3510i is much bigger and has no infrared.

You can attch pictures to contacts on the sony ericsson t300. Just go to manage contacts and add picture. That way when someone calls there picture will show up. You personalize ringtones this way too

hey there's no need to stray from nokia, if you want to spend all your money on a crap phone and then spend the rest of your money fixing it, then buy a non-nokia phone

uhmm by the way, SE phones usually have firmware updates available. the T68i is now off at R7A, maybe the last as almost all bugs are gone. on the P800, its R2D - whollata features. good.

I love the phone (t68i) but am VERy disappointed with the call signal strength - constantly dropped calls, new nokia 3650 did not have the same problem.

This is my first post, so firstly, hello everyone!

Right... I have pretty much always had Ericssons. My friends and relatives all have Nokias and they seem to be a little unreliable, i.e. the screens or LEDs stop working, or the battery works loose easily and resets the phone. I have have attributed these problems to the "Nokia Curse".

I agree that Nokia phones have a good user interface, but I find that the build quality is a little shoddy. Ericssons seem to be the opposite, not quite so good a menu system, but the features are good and they are physically more reliable.

I've never really had a problem with dropped calls on my Ericsson phones, but there are many factors which could cause this, and the phone is only one of them!
