Using Cingular Data on unlocked AT&T phone

Picked up a t226 from AT&T and have since unlocked it and am using it w/ Cingular. Works great, for the most part, but I cannot use any of the data services. Keeps telling me "wrong user id/password." Is there any way to use Cingular's GPRS network on this thing? Thanks in advance.
