I purchased a T610 that was unlocked from original Tmobile. I have Cingular. I moved my sim card over and phone numbers. The phone shows my new cell number.

The problem is it never stops searching and no bars on signal strength. I question if it was really unlocked or if the antenna is bad. The guy who sold it said its unlocked and works with cingular. He said if it read the cingular sim it proves its unlocked.

I currently use a Gait phone. My son also had a gait phone and we easily upgraded his phone.

Any ideas ?
