Hey, I've been thinking about getting an s710a, but it costs a pretty penny. Can anyone let me know if it's really worth the money?

I looks to be a great phone, but you're right it is a bit expensive. Around here it is about $350. I have researched the phone and it does seem to be worth it, but I think I will wait a bit and see if it goes down. Give it a couple of months and they will be the special deals or the deal of the month phone.

I have the phone and its worth it, especially when you combine this phone with mac os x 10.2 and above. Because you can use it to control itunes, dvd, powerpoint, and other softwares. also, u can text and receive phone calls through the computer.

that phone looks beautiful and i think its worth the money. sony ericsson comes out with very nice phones

The only complaint regarding functionality I've heard so far is that the mic area (where you speak into the phone) is awkwardly placed so that it may rub against your face and create static as well as pick up wind. Also, take note of the fact that the phone does not support MS Pro Duo SD cards.

Anyone know how much it cost in the States?? I would expect it to cost more if it was unlocked as well. I heard somewhere around $250 with a plan?!? Looks like a sweet phone

it is absolutely a wonderful phone. this is my third sony ericsson phone, i had a t616, t637 and now the s710a. i love the user interface, they have tons of features to make connecting to anyone possible, the screen is out of this world, and the call quality beats that of any other cell phone ive used. its worth the money. i suggest going on ebay to get one cheaper than you can through cingular. worth every penny i spent on mine.

sony always comes up with real sick phones but they are priced little higher than other brands..like motos or nokias even

yea, sony has a way of making things niiice. But, truthfully, I absoultly HATE their preformance. They're getting better and better as time goes on. My advies, wait a while, itll go down, and youll see if it has anymore flaws

yeah it is dang expensive....you should be keen, and get it when Rogers is having a special corporate discounts dept.
