Sony Ericsson has ended the Internet rumours and leaked photos by officially unveiling its updated P-series Smartphone.
The new model, which will be called the P990i , has been updated from its predecessor (the P910i) in almost every area. It will support 3G (to the joy of those wanting faster web browsing and video calling), WLAN and BlackBerry Connect.
The removable flip keypad remains, but the full QWERTY keypad (first introduced on the P910i) has been moved to the body of the phone. This has reduced the screen size, but has improved the usability of the keypad design significantly (a common gripe of P910i users).

Existing loyal P-Series users will see this as a welcome and well thought out update.
