k510a ringtone

Hi, guys.
i can't use mp3 ringtone on my k510a. when i try to set a mp3 file as ringtone, the phone tells me the file cannot be set as ring tone. Does k510a even support mp3 ringtone? or is this have something to do with the fact that the phone is locked by Fido(canadian mobile provider).
