I have perfect reception every where EXCEPT when I am at home in my apartmant - 1st floor in a 7 storey building.
The best reception in my apartment (one bar) is if I stand near a window.
Any suggestions will be most welcome.

you can always opt for a reception boosters, some of them work, some are just big chunks of plastic that'll set you back 15 double cheeseburgers at mickey d's.
others contain metal inside them, boosting your reception only to the extent of your location.
it doesnt help much, but if 1-2 bars are worth 10-15 bux, go for it.Hey there!

It would help if you listed what your service provider is and what region you're at.
