I finally decided to buy this phone and was just told it was being discontinued. Any clue as to what the new one will be in it's place for Cingular and when?

Hard to say. Only AT&T knows which will be the next SE to be carried. I've read that perhaps the W610i might be carried for AT&T, while the non-Walkman version, the K550i, will be carried for T-Mobile. But right now, no given word. You'll just have to be patient and see what comes next. If you're bored with your W810i already, there's the K790a that you can upgrade to. Unfortunately, it's not carried by AT&T, so you'd have to buy it at retail price.

    Re: Replacing W810i

Thanks. I didn't buy the W810i because they discontinued it. That's why I was wondering what the replacement one would be. I hope they come out with it June 1st! My old junky Motorola V551 is about to bite the dust. I figured if it had an FM radio, then the antenna reception has to be good. I live in a rural area and use an extended antenna that is on my roof. Unfortunately, I believe those too are a thing of the past. Thanks for your response.

perhaps W610 will replace W810, but who knows
but on T-Mobile side, several models will join T-Mobile force
I am aware that Shinobi may have 1700 HSDPA version, and heading to T-Mobile late 4Q to early 2008 (will get it when renew my contract), along with Z750 (at&t may carry it too)
