Cingular offers SE W580i in white. My wife would like to get this phone and since i can upgrade i could get it cheap but before i do that i have a question about it's keypad. How true is it that they are faulty meaning the buttons break quite easy.? I have read that several thousand 5 - 10% off all phones have this "problem" Anyone experienced it and how to fix it if it happens? We are both going on a vacation to Europe in about 3 weeks and she really needs a new phone since her samsung D600 has really hard time holding the juice and need to be recharged every day even if not used.
Thanks for Your opinion.
Regards

If the keys on the W580i crack, just use your warranty with at&t and get a replacement...

mine was fine for a long time (8 months is a long time for me)... and then the buttons started breaking. If you don't text like a teenager, it's going to be fine, but if you text a lot, consider something different.

My sister and I are moderate texters and we have not broken any of the keys on the keypad.
The key is to be gentle.
