I am probably too late, as this post was almosts a month old, but if you are still having problem, then the trick after you have "DRMed" the mp3, is to connect the phone to the PC in "PHONE MODE" and not in "File transfer mode". Once in phone mode, open up the file manager in using the software suite and double click the phone icon and just drag & drop the "DRMed" mp3 to file manager window (not into the file folders), after the coping is done, the phone will prompt you for what you want to use the mp3 as, which you can select as ringtone. the first time it worked! but when i do second time it doesn't work! I couldn't see the memory card folder and the phone folder..can anybody tell me why ?

i had similar question, and guess what i downloaded a avs4you software then downloaded a video from you-tube (music video) then ran that file in that avs4media software called AVS video editor ,it actually gives all setting for cellphones, then connected the cellphone with computer via usb cable (supplied with the phone) and just coppied (drag and click) into the (Sony Ericsson PC Suite 6.0) done !!! sounds to complicated but once all the softwares are installed in your should be able to do any video ringtones in your phone
