k800i sound problems

i dont know if anyone has had or has this problem, but the sound on my k800i goes on and off. I dont know what happened but i noticed that when ever i press the buttons to raise or lower the volume the sound cuts off. It gets worse after i use the camera. Anyone got any ideas?? also i dropped my phone probably twice, but i never had any sound problems after that, it started happening when i used to put a cover over my phone.

one more thing, i fix it my holding the sides (where the volume/zoom buttons are) together.

yea they are notorious for the random off and on. see if you can exchange it if you have a waranty
