sony ericsson k608i not working!

i need to know what is wrong with this phone. i removed the battery while the music player was playing. it continued to play for a few seconds then switched off. after that it just wont turn on. does it need flashing?

whats the outcome on this phone

what do you mean by outcome? it doesnt turn on anymore. i think i can see the screen light up a little when i change the battery but still wont turn on.

To provide a little more definition into what other people are saying, insert the data Cable into the phone, then using your PC, update the phone (if that's not an option, re-apply the current patch) using the Sony Ericsson Update Service. This should clear up your problem. If this dosn't work, then your only option really is to send it back to Sony Ericsson, or the store you got it from depending on the warranty and get a new phone. Also, try removing the memory card before powering it on. Since you were streaming music (from the memory card I assume), then it might be that that is what's confusing the phone. The update will probably solve it regardless anyway. Good luck .
