Hi all...sorry if this has been posted somewhere else..Seems AT&T is offering the C905 now..the "C905a"..now my question is..is there a difference between a debranded C905a and an original straight up C905? You know, if I buy the C905a and debrand it (I'm pretty decent at unlocking/flashing/modding etc), is that the same as buying an unlocked unbranded C905? AT&T has C905a for $329..then I debrand with a little of my time..Or should I bite the bullet and pay the $4-450 for an original? Just curious what the better option is cause I'd rather spend the extra cash if I would miss out on anything with a debranded AT&T model...Any help from anyone more knowledgeable would be awesome!! By the way I'm currently an N82 man..am I dumb for changing phones lol???

The biggest difference between the two is the AT&T phone is SIM locked to AT&T, the debranded version is probably SIM unlocked, meaning you can use any cell SIM in the phone.

Some smaller cellular companies, such as my provider Einstein Wireless, use unbranded and unlocked phones.

AT&T comes preloaded with AT&T MediaNET, MMS, AT&T Mail, and other proprietary software on the phones that can only be used on AT&T service, where as a debranded phone probably won't have this extra clutter.

If you can get the debranded phone cheaper, then go that route.
