Another Android smartphone in the UK has just received a price cut; the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play has been dropped to £418 with VAT. Clove is selling this handset for this low price and considering that Orange had the same device at £449 on PAYG and Expansys with a price of £474.99, this seems to be the best deal so far on the Xperia Play.
Features of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play include: Android 2.3, sliding gamepad, 4 inch display with 854 x 480 pixels, GPS, 5MP autofocus camera, 1GHz processor, Wi-Fi and DLNA. There are currently about 60 games that you can download to this PlayStation-smartphone.

Re: UK's Sony Ericsson's Xperia Play receives a price drop
The phone is nice and the first phone to offer Play Station in it. A price cut may make the demand high.

Re: UK's Sony Ericsson's Xperia Play receives a price drop
It's a lot cheaper on timtechs which is only $589 USD. Too bad I got this phone from them really early when the price was still high, but no regrets since I have really enjoyed this phone from day 1
