Voicemail Tips & Tricks

Calling Voicemail:

If you wish to call your voicemail in order to retrieve messages, you can follow one of the two methods below:

  • Using the Dialer:

    1. While on the home screen, tap the "Phone" icon
    2. Tap and hold the "1" key

  • Using the Voicemail Application:

    1. While on the home screen, tap the "Applications" icon
    2. Scroll to and select "Visual Voicemail"
    3. Press the "Menu" icon
    4. Tap "Call Voicemail"

Setting a Voicemail Number:

Unfortunately, changing the voicemail number on this particular handset is not available. However, you can enable call forwarding and use a voicemail server number. To do so:

  1. Tap the "Applications" icon on the home screen
  2. Scroll to and select "Settings"
  3. Press "Call settings" under "Device"
  4. Scroll down to and then tap "Call forwarding"
  5. Select either "Forward when busy", "Forward when unanswered" or "Forward when unreachable"
  6. Type in the phone number that you wish to forward the calls to
  7. Tap "Enable"


Visual Voicemail (VVM) Tips

Setting Up Visual Voicemail for the First Time:

  1. From the home screen, press the "Applications" icon
  2. Scroll to and then tap "Visual Voicemail"
  3. Tap "Next"

Changing the Visual Voicemail Greeting to an Existing One:

  1. Tap the "Applications" icon located on the home screen
  2. Scroll to and then select "Visual Voicemail"
  3. Tap the "Menu" icon depicted as three vertical dots
  4. Tap "Settings" and select "Greetings"
  5. Select the greeting that you wish to use

Recording a New Visual Voicemail Greeting:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Applications" icon
  2. Tap "Visual Voicemail"
  3. Tap the "Menu" icon and then select "Settings"
  4. Tap "Greetings and then press "Add New"
  5. Type in the name for your new greeting
  6. Press the "Record" icon to begin recording your message
  7. Tap the "Stop recording" button to end the recording process
  8. To review your recorded greeting, tap the "Play" icon
  9. Press "Save"

Changing the Visual Voicemail Password:

  1. Tap the "Applications" icon located on the home screen
  2. Scroll to and select "Visual Voicemail"
  3. Press the "Menu" icon
  4. Select "Settings" and then tap "Change PIN"
  5. Enter the current PIN
  6. Type in the new PIN and then re-enter it in order to confirm it
  7. Tap "OK"

Listening to Visual Voicemail Messages:

  1. While on the home screen, press the "Applications" icon
  2. Select "Visual Voicemail"
  3. Select the desired message and then tap the "Play" icon to listen to the message

Disabling Visual Voicemail:

  1. Tap the "Apps" icon located on the home screen
  2. Scroll to and select "Visual Voicemail"
  3. Under "Device", tap "Apps"
  4. Slide the screen to access "All"
  5. Scroll down and then tap "Visual Voicemail"
  6. Tap "Disable" and then press "OK" to confirm
