Transferring Music or Sounds to Use as Ringtones / Notification Sounds:

  1. Connect your smartphone to your PC via the USB cable that came with your smartphone
  2. On your computer's screen, double click "Browse files" in the Windows Explorer window that pops-up
  3. Double-click the "Internal storage" folder
  4. Double-click on either "Music" or "Notifications"
  5. Copy the music or audio files from your computer to the "Music" or "Notifications" folder
  6. Once you're done copying the desired files, click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon located in your computer's system tray
  7. Click "OK" and disconnect your smartphone from your PC

Changing the Ringtone for All Calls:

  1. Transfer the audio file that that you wish to use, in the "Music" folder of your device
  2. While on the home screen, press the "Applications" icon
  3. Go to "Settings"
  4. Under "Device" tap "Sound"
  5. Under "Ringtone & Vibration", tap "Phone ringtone"
  6. Press the "Music" icon located in the top-right corner of the display
  7. Navigate to and select the file that you wish to assign as your ringtone
  8. Tap "Done"

Assigning a Ringtone to a Contact:

  1. Transfer the music / sound file to your "Music" folder on your device
  2. Tap the "Phone" icon located on the home screen
  3. Press the "Contacts" tab located in the upper-left corner of the screen
  4. Select the contact that you wish to edit
  5. Tap the "Edit contact" icon located in the top-right corner of the display
  6. Browse for and tap the "Ringtone" drop-down menu
  7. Tap the "Music" icon located in the top-right corner of the screen
  8. Browse through your files and select the one that you wish to use
  9. Press "Done"
  10. Tap "Done" again to confirm

Changing the Notification Sound:

  1. Transfer the audio file that you wish to assign, into your "Notifications" folder on your smartphone
  2. While on the home screen, tap the "Applications" icon
  3. Open "Settings"
  4. Scroll to "Device" and then press "Sound"
  5. Tap "Default notification sound" under "System"
  6. Find the newly added file and select it. It should be at the bottom of the list
  7. Press "Done"
