Managing Contacts

Adding a New Contact to the Phonebook:

  1. While viewing the home screen, tap the "Phone" icon
  2. Go to the "Contacts" tab located in the top-left corner
  3. Tap the "Add contact" icon
  4. Select where you want to save the contact, such as "Local contact"
  5. Type in the contact's first and last names in the appropriate fields
  6. Enter the contact's phone number under "Phone"
  7. If necessary, tap the "Mobile" drop-down menu to select a different type of phone number
  8. Enter any additional contact information as you desire
  9. When ready, tap "Done" to save the contact

Assigning a Contact to Speed Dial:

  1. Tap the "Phone" icon located on the home screen
  2. Tap the "Menu" button located in the bottom-left corner of the screen
  3. Tap "Speed dial settings"
  4. Tap the "Add" icon associated with the dialer pad number that you wish to use
  5. Browse through your contacts and select the one you wish to link with the previously selected dialer pad number

Importing / Exporting Contacts to from / to the SD Card:

  1. Launch the "Phone" application
  2. Access the "Contacts" tab located in the upper-left corner
  3. Select to "Import Contacts" or "Export contacts"
  4. Tap "SD Card"
  5. When importing contacts, select the vCard file that you wish to import
  6. Tap "OK"

Importing / Exporting Contact from / to the SIM Card:

  1. Tap the "Phone" icon while on the home screen
  2. Access the "Contacts" tab
  3. Tap the "Menu" icon
  4. Select to "Import contacts" or "Back up contacts"
  5. Tap "SIM Card" and then follow one of the sets of steps below:
    • When importing contacts:
      1. Select the location of the contact, such as "Local contact"
      2. Mark the contacts that you wish to import, or tap "Import all"
    • When exporting contacts:
      1. Select the contacts that you wish to export or tap "Mark All"
      2. Tap "Back Up"
      3. Lastly, tap "Add contacts"

Deleting a Contact:

  1. Launch the "Phone" application
  2. Access the "Contacts" tab
  3. Tap and hold the contact that you want to remove
  4. Tap the icon depicting a "Trash can", located in the lower-right corner
  5. Tap "OK" to confirm

Managing Groups

Creating a Caller Group:

  1. While on the home screen, tap the "Phone" icon
  2. Go to the "Groups" tab
  3. Tap the "Add group" icon
  4. Enter a name for the group and tap "Done"

Adding Contacts to an Existing Group:

  1. Tap the "Phone" icon located on the home screen
  2. From the "Groups" tab, select the group that you wish to edit
  3. Tap "Add contact"
  4. Select the contacts that you wish to add to the group
  5. Tap "Done" to confirm and exit edit mode
