Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Establish a USB connection between the smartphone and PC
  2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
  3. Open the File Explorer on the PC
  4. Locate the desired audio files on the PC storage and copy them
  5. Transfer the files to the phone storage in the “Media” directory
  6. After the transfer ends, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Launch “Settings”
  2. Scroll to “Device”
  3. Tap “Sound & Notification”
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
  5. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

  1. Launch “Contacts”
  2. Tap and hold the contact whose ringtone you want to change
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
  4. Select the ringtone you want to set
  5. Tap “OK”

Change Notification Alerts:

  1. Open “Settings”
  2. Tap “Sound & Notification” under “Device”
  3. Go to “Default notification ringtone”
  4. Select the desired notification alert
  5. Tap “OK” to confirm
