Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
  3. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With
  4. Select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Log in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing one
  6. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  7. Once done, switch to the Android phone and log in with the same account used in iTunes
  8. Allow the account to sync contacts with the Android device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts
  4. Select the desired contacts and click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  5. After the vCard is downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to your phonebook via “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents to your phonebook using “Contacts

Via My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: The two methods above require a computer with Internet access and alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an app for iOS which can be used to share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Tap “Email” and make sure the vCard is attached
  4. Send the email to your own address
  5. On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts

Via Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS to share your iPhone contacts over a peer-2-peer connection without requiring computer access.

  1. Visit the App Store and install Send Anywhere on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Android phone
  3. Launch the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send
  6. Finally, select a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
