I just got 2 from AT&T a few days ago. I like everything about it except that the screen gets severely smudged everytime I use it without the headset. I'm getting 2 of those cheapo leather cases with the clear plastic over the screen so I don't have to worry how hard I wipe it on my pants or shirt after everytime I use it. Other than that, the reception is great with AT&T in Brooklyn, NY and the phone is just fun to use. I'm about to order a USB BlueTooth adapter for my computer for them, looking at some reviews now.

I ended up ordering the Asante FriendlyNET Bluetooth Wireless USB Adapter from Amazon for $25.99 free shipping. From what I was reading all the BlueTooth adapters work about the same so I got the cheapest one I could find.

New member new phon
Hey guys, I just bought this phone off ebay and received it about 2 days ago. The only problem I have is that the phone was from cingular and I have att. I cant receive mms messages because it is still looking for the cingular network. Everything else works fine but I cant surf the web or download ringtones. Is there any firmware updates that can convert the phone to all ATT? Thanks for any help guys.

Oscardms, you can call AT&T and ask them to give you all the necessary information (IP address, message server, etc) so that you can re-configure your phone so that it all works.
My provider (Fido) just sent me an IM that changed the settings for me, maybe they can do the same thing for you.

does anybody know how to unlock a t616 on your own

To unlock your SE phone, you need a terminator dongle, which you can easily find on Ebay for around $20 US.
