Kobe Bryant is not the best player in the NBA. It wasn't until this season that he became the best player on his team.

If kobe wins another championship with the lakers it will be due to whoever comes in puts the team on their shoulders, NOT KOBE.
Shaq makes everyone look better than they really are, when he leaves they get exposed as fakes.
Penny-Shaq=shell of his former self (mostly injuries mind you)
Kobe-Shaq=No playoffs, lower stats, LOTTO, humbled
Wade-Shaq=time will tell, I say he'll end up like Penny with injuries.

yep, no way kobes the best, he aint a winner, look at how bad LA is doing under his wing. Hes no leader, just a scorer. and thers more to being an amazing player then just scoring.

You can't put the blame all on Kobe's shoulders. They have had quite a few injuries this year: Devean George and Vlade Divac missed pretty much the entire season, Kobe missed a handful of games and now Lamar Odom is hurt.
There were some bright spots to the season. With a good draft and some offseason moves, the Lakers will be in the playoffs next season.Last edited by Super Brodie; 04-10-2005 at 02:57 PM.

Kobe is the best player since MJ but he lacks a couple key factors to becoming a legend: "it's a team game".

Until Kobe can learn to pass the ball and play team ball, he isn't the best player in the league...
