Does anyone think that he will take over McNabbs quarterback position, or do you think that the eagles will use him as a wide reciever / wildcat running back who can pass?

Re: Michael Vick
He'll be used as mostly a decoy. McNabb is still a very good quarterback and while Vick can sometimes amaze, he's been away from the game for two years and even back then his flashes of brilliance were just that: flashes. I can understand running when you have no other option, but for him running is often his first instinct. Unless an offense is specifically designed for him and he learned to moderate his running, there's no way he'll ever be a successful quarterback in the same vein as Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, or even McNabb.

Re: Michael Vick
There's only one way Vick gets McNabbs job, I dont dare utter the words.
Vick knowing this, I think can and will change his style to better himself. If you find this post helpful, click on bottom of each post: Like l Share

Re: Michael Vick
I agree with you both, but i don't think he's smart enough to change his ways. I really feel he will be best used as either a wildcat running back or a wide reciever. Although he was in jail it was a federal jail and you all know all he has to do all day is work-out and lift weights. They probably even gave him a football in there because you know that the federal jails are filled with sports figures past and present.
I don't think he'll get McNabbs spot, ever! Unless McNabb goes through one of those *****s like he did a year or two ago.
You can't blame Vick for taking 1.5 million when he was working at an YMCA. That's some good money with 5 more million coming if he does anything the first year.
All that said, no-one will remember his dog fighting 3 years from now when he's a big name again.

Re: Michael Vick
Frankly, I for one will always associate the name Michael Vick with his psychopathic dog-fighting activities. I'm not saying that a man can't be truly sorry over things he's done in the past, and change his ways, but I'm not convinced that Vick's only sorrow isn't simply that he got caught; only time will tell. In the meantime, I wouldn't be surprised if animal lovers (including PETA) will keep up their vigil ... other people may forget Vick's pathetic behavior, but HE shouldn't.

Re: Michael Vick
Yep. We all have to live with the consequences of our behavior, whether good or bad. Michael Vick made a willful choice to participate in a barbaric form of animal cruelty which, in my opinion, reveals a serious character flaw. I can't imagine Donovan McNabb getting involved in something like this. (I may remember McNabb for Campbell's soup commercials with his mom, which is a whole lot better than being remembered for participating in and even funding the brutalizing of animals.)

All I have to say is that I'm gonna laugh when they play against a team with a dog mascot.

Re: Michael Vick
Even if Mcnabb is hurt I still think Garcia would be the starting quarterback with Vick in just to confuse the defense.

Re: Michael Vick
I think that's the most intelligent answer we've heard as of now!!!
I'm still faithfull to my initial statement claiming that he will be more of a threat as a wide reciever or a wildcat running back!
Garcia is by far the best candidate for the qb spot, hands down!!!
And McNabb isn't hurt that bad. Vick is still suspended for one more game and then their by-week. McNabb won't sit on the sideline and give his job away! He had a taste of "benched" last year and I don't think he's ready for retirement yet, so i'm betting that we have a lot of McNabb to see in the near future!!!
Vicks a playmaker, not a quarterback!!!!!
