Superbowl 2013

Are you looking forward to the Superbowl this year? I was until my team lost their playoff game. I was disappointed but not really surprised. If we had won the playoff game and made it to the Superbowl, it would only have been our second time EVER making it that far. Oh well... Maybe next year.

Avenue, I haven't caught many of the Superbowl ads for this year. Actually, I don't think I've caught any at all. After the Falcons lost to the 49ers in the playoffs, I stopped watching TV and went back to watching Netflix. Which one is your fave?

My favorite ad is the Bud Lite (or is it Miller Lite?) commercial where all the fans are at a game and they turn their beer labels out in a superstitious act for good measure. Initially, the guy is doubtful, but he turns his label out anyway. Then, his team scores and he goes slack-jaw. After that, the commercial states that "It's only weird if it doesn't work."

I like the Doritos advertisement with the dog (pug) that runs to get the Doritos and knocks the door down. My dog has had Doritos after seeing that advertisement.

Was anyone really grossed out about the Go Daddy commercial? I thought it was funny myself but I heard some web hosting companies are taking advantage of their customers if they want to swap hosts and using coupon codes like "gross" and "disgusting". Superbowl wise, the commercials were pretty tame but I am still stoked that my team won.

Conissa, I thought the sound effects were a bit over the top but other than that, it didn't bother me that a hot chick was making out with a nerd. I've heard some people were super offended by it, which I think is stupid. If he'd been attractive too, no one would care.

I enjoyed watching the advertisements. I thought some of them were funny.
