I would stay with sprint, but its different depending where you live because of the service areas. Here in Pittsburgh they service areas are good and the price is reasonable.

Sprint has the worst coverage area out of any major US wireless provider... Its less expensive than Verizon, but you don't get coverage in 95% of the US like you do with Verizon. Sprint is also known for its HORRIBLE customer service, who will never do anything for you, ever. So if you ever have billing problems, you have to take them to court in order for them to do anything because their customer service certainly won't do anything.

I'm switching from sprint to verizon. The main reason is that I can use my LG phone with my laptop and not get charged extra. Even though the speed at best is 14.4, it still only counts against my minutes. Sprint won't allow that, unless you pay for it, even with slow speed.

News to me
I didn't know that. I thought that Sprint allows you to use your cell phone with your laptop for free. It might just be in Seattle. I'm not sure though i will have to check into that. Thanks

Sprint Laptop connection
Last time I checked a few months back Sprint allowed you to connect you phone to your laptop for free and you werent charged anything you just had to have the wireless web on your account for like $5. But it didnt use any minutes. I currently have Nextel now so the could have changed thing in the last 6 months.

I reccommend Sprint.
Sprint & VZW seem to have identical coverage on the highways.
With VZW I still drop calls during handoff but with my Sprint service I seldomly drop calls while on the freeway.
Now in residential areas - VZW has a slight advantage but not much. Sprint still seems to work better for me.
Sprint is constantly adding new sites in Southern CA. So for methe coverage has improved quite a bit.
I use wireless web a lot and the fact that it is unlimited and does not use my minutes is plus for me. On VZW they deduct minutes when on wireless web.
