Right now I love my 7400 but in the next two to three weeks its big brother will be out...the Sanyo 5600...It will have a mp3 player, 1mp camera, expandable memory, ready link, and much more. If that is too much phone the hot sellers are the LG325 slider, the Sanyo 7400 (go to costco for this one 259 before rebates) and the Sanyo 8200....here is the spec sheet for the 5600

I always suggest people go to the store and play with the phones...make calls on them, play with the menus...because whats nice to me might be junk to you......so there is no BEST PHONE for everyone...Last edited by MsRandall; 02-25-2005 at 09:03 AM.

$429 for existing customers or customers not eligble for an upgrade. The LG 325 slider is at Radio Shack and Sprint stores....also look here...I used to be a mod on this site...and most transactions go are flaw less but make sure to contact the seller and get his info just in case.....

I'd have to go with the Sanyo VM4500. Nice phone!

I have to agree, there is NO best phone that fits everybody. But Sprint does have a terrific lineup , including Sanyo , rated #1 by JD Power & Assocs for Customer Satisfaction in 2004.
But decide first: What main features are most important to you?
Hi Res Digital Camera?
Remote access to your PC at home or work?
Voice dialing?
Bluetooth?
Picture Mail?
Streaming audio/video?
Large screen?
Internet Explorer for the browser?
QWERTY keyboard?
Speakerphone?
Walkie Talkie?
Long battery life?
Or?????
Find the models on Sprint's site that have your major 2-3 features. Then you are ready to visit the store and play with the ones that have what you want. Check out the feel, look and layout of the phone.
When purchasing, find out how long you have (get it in writing) to return the phone for another if you don't like it. Have fun!

VGA-1000 is your best bet, it has everything. but if your getting a new plan, then its worth getting a more expensive one cuz you get all the discounts

VGA1000 is discontinued. Go for one of the Sanyos. I like the VM4500

The vm4500 and the mm7400 are good phones....Had both of them They are highly recommended.
The mm5600 with the mp3 player, expandable memory slot and the qvga screen is an excellent phone...Ive had it for 2 weeks and this phone is hot...great reception, great battery life and most of all- all the bells and whistles.....Only cons on this phone is price $429 or $279 with rebate and no ability to use as a modem....Otherwise this flagship phone is great. If you want a Great Sprint phone go get yourself a SANYO 5600...The hotness!!!

My cousin has the Sanyo-PM 8200, great phone, camera is pretty good also. Speaker phone is louder than any phone I've ever heard that has had SP on it.
