This is pretty odd...my mom has a cell phone through Sprint and notice a couple days ago that she couldn't receive or make calls. She switched her landline to the cell, so had no way to make calls except from work. She called Sprint and they told her that the software needed to be updated and she'd have to wait a couple days. She waited 2 days and again no service. They then told her she'd have to get it serviced at a Sprint store. At the store, they told her the phone was fine, but it was the local phone companies in her are blocking cell phone usage. She asked if that was legal and they told her it was and she'd have to take it up with the local phone companies, that they couldn't do anything about it. Has anyone else heard anything like this???? Does my mom have grounds to get out of her contract if she can't use her phone???
