Hi,

Back in May, I received some text messages. I didn't know that when you opened them, you get charged for them. I called Sprint and that's what they told me. They said if I sign up for the 2 month trial to Vision, I can wipe out the charges. I would get free access to the web and unlimited messages. Also, I would $10 credits for each month to apply for any downloads. So I downloaded (4) ringers each month (May and June) at $2.50 each and using the refund feature to applied the credit. My trial was supposed to end on July 21 so July rolled in, I discontinued using Vision. On July 7th, I told them I didn't want Vision to continue after the expiration date.

Last week, I checked my bill for this coming month and it said I owed $135. I was like what??? I checked online and it said I downloaded a whole assortment of things - movies, music, screensavers, games, the works!!!! I don't know how this happened but I know I didn't do it. Called Sprint and they told me that my trial ends on Aug 21. They also said they would open an investigation. Today, they said my request was declined and I'm responsible for download charges. They also said since I applied for the refund credit that that's another reason why I am responsible for the charges. Why would I use the credit if I already used my (2) in May and June?

I think someone got into my account and downloaded them. Is it possible? I only downloaded using my phone, never online. And I only have 8 ringers on my phone. I never created a password for my Vision account.

I'm going to bring my phone into the store and have them take a look at it. According the phone rep, she said the downloads were done online. The only thing online that I did was listen to the ringers. I am not stupid enough to click on the pay button.

The only people that use my phone is me and my sister. My sister doesn't know I have Vison on it and I know she only uses it for voice calls.

Does anyone have a clue on how I can get all of these downloads without knowing? Has there have any past incidents where people are charged falsely ? Has there been times where someone breaks into an account and downloads things? Is there anything I can do? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Jim
