I already have plan, but i would like to buy a new phone. My dog sort of got to it, and i would like to upgrade to a picture phone. The prices for phones with out plans are outragous! Is there any way i can get around them?

Aside from ebay or online sellers, your only other way to get a discount on a phone is to add one to your plan, but that wouldn't be economical because it would make your bill go up, or find out if Sprint will apply a discount to your purchase if you return the old one to them. Somewhere on their site I read they will give up to $50 credit on upgrades if they get the old one back.

That's all I can think of... hope it helps

since you already have a plan, no. you have to pay FULL price for a new phone. UNless you sign up for a new account. Then theres tons of discounts on phones but note, u will loose ur current plan if its not being offered by sprint anymore. they wont transfer ur plan onto a new account. also, as brad said, ebay is an option for u, refurbed phones for cheap.
hey brad, they do buy backs in sprint. BUT, the most money u will get is 25.00! i brought back a brand new lg pm 225, bought for 80.00 and i got 20.00! not even 25! they wanted to give me 25.00 for my sanyo 9000! i laughed and walked out and decided yeah, ill keep my phone and have two phones.. hey 2500 minutes combined, free nites and weekends at 6, unlimited net, email, aim and so much more, all for 100 bux!
sprint says they give up to 50 dollars but NEVER do! the NEW 9000 they wanted to give me 25 bux for it!!! i couldnt believe it, i had the box, manuals, reciept EVERYTHING! and note, i had EVERYTHING with the lg225 when i brought it back as well and to top it off, i NEVER got the credit applied to the account and its been 3 months now. When i went into to see about selling me 9000 a couple days ago, they told me that there WAS no phone buy back, so i proved it by showing the reciept and they told me to call customer care, as usual.. what are they gonna do that u cant? this is the store i sold the phone to, and HE is the rep who bought it back, as i pointed to a particular rep.. im just fed up with sprint in general...

sorry..but i must say the sanyo 8300 and the sanyo 9000 are BOTH great phones with good cameras! the 9000 has a 1.3 megapixel...but its 400 dollars full price, the 8300 does not have such a good camera, but its still a really good camera for its price... its 299.00 full price... if i were u, id pay the extra 100 for a way better phone!!

how long have you had your phone? if you've had it for 2 years, 150 bucks off a phone when signing a new contract, if you've only had it for a year, then 75 bucks off when signing a new contract.

xine, they are ONLY eligible for that if they have the UPGRADE PLAN. My mother has had sprint for many years ( 6-7 years ) and she has NOT been able to get that deal with new phones due to the fact she does not have the upgrade plan. I dont know why that is like that, it did create a big arguement last week and she walked out of sprint and said "ive been a LOYAL customer for almost 7 years now and all u care about is making money and railing new customers in and once you got them with your bait, thats it no more deals, your stuck with sprint until ur contract is up". I just dont think its fair.. Alot of people dont KNOW they have to have the upgrade plan in their plan ( or somewhere on their account ) and when she went in to sprint, thinkin she could get a new phone, since shes had it for so long and NEVER had an insurance claim, or nothin.. they told her basically, shes on her own.
