Ive been a sprint customer for about six years now and they have always offered a wide aray of cool phones. I recently broke my Sanyo 8100 and want to replace it with a phone form another service provider. Ebay has alot of phones that are "unlocked", and most of them say there compatable with sprint services. Is this true and will Sprint recognize another phone or am I about to wast alot of money?

Any unlocked CDMA phone will work in theory, however, I strongly recommend buying a phone that is already branded Sprint.

Thanks for your reply but if the phone is already sprint branded, then why would i buy an unlocked phone from another company? I really want the Razor, is that possible? And if so, how would i go about that?

You're not going to get a Motorola RAZR to work on Sprint's network. The Samsung A900 is Sprint's equivalent to the RAZR.

Getting Sprint to activate an unlocked CDMA phone on their network is nearly impossible.
