Please can someone help me. I just finished a sprint 2 year agreement. When I went to the sprint store the lady told me that my contract was extened for another 2 years! I never agreed to that if anything I want out of sprint. She mentioned a 10% discount given back in December when I cancelled another line on that account. I was then directed to cancelations department at their red phone in the store. I told the supervisor on the phone the same story. I never agreeed to renew my contract. I definitly wouldn't take 10% off my bill to do that. I would have come back into the store got a new phone and wrote a new contract with more competitive prices. The supervisior on the phone told me I was stuck with the 2 year contract , but I could get a new phone and new contract. I stated I never signed anything or agreed to anything verbally, yet I'm stuck? Give me a break! I know I can't be the only one with this problem. Anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks

I'm sorry to tell you this, but in your original contract 2 years ago it stated that any changes to the service would renew the contract. If you removed a line from your plan in December, that is when your contract renewed. I agree it would have been nice for someone to remind you of this clause in the contract, but the fact is they aren't required to tell you because it's in the original agreement.

If you really want out of the contract that bad, maybe www.celltradeusa.com can help, but with 21 months left on the contract, the only other way out is to pay the early termination fees. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I believe those are your only other options.

If you know someone who wants a cell phone, maybe you can talk them into taking over your contract. After a quick credit-check and a small fee, you will be released of contractual obligation and your friend will be stuck in the contract, not you

My orginal plan was supposed to end in December. Before that I extended it to change my rate plan. So the plan really ended 3 days ago. The phone that was closed in December was a second line that was added on to the orginal contract. Does that make any sense?

Any changes to "the plan" including upgrading or downgrading your minutes, adding or removing a line, etc. will extend the contract another 2 years. The only exception to this rule is within the first 90 days of a new contract. Sorry.
