Nextel Phone???

If i buy a phone off of ebay that is made for nextel, could i use it on my sprint plan. becuase they did merge and stuff. thanks for the help

No, they are different technologies and wont work. Srint is CDMA and Nextel is IDEN. If you want a phone for sprint get a sprint "branded" phone. Also, it is not a bad idea to call Sprint and make sure the ESN of the new phone is able to be activated BEFORE you put money down on it.

ohh ok thanks, i was just wondering because a friend of mine wanted to seel me his blackberry and he has nextel and i thought i would be a cool phone to use with sprint, all well, thanks again.
