I have a Sanyo MM-8300 and it like turns off randomly all the time and when I open the phone nothing will be on the screen you have to start pushing buttons and like mess with the battery to get the screen to come on. I am not getting good service any more and my battery runs out in 1 day like really easy. I was wondering since they dont make the MM-8300 anymore if I pay the $50 deductable what phone will I get? It has to be better right? They go up one step right?

Re: Upgrading With Insurance!!!
They will tend to give you whatever phone replaced that one or the closest to it in price (at the time they stopped offering it). At least thats what most carriers do.
As for doing this with insurance, if the insurance company has any refurbished of what you have in stock, that what you will get.

Re: Upgrading With Insurance!!!
Speeddemon you can like try that, and hope like the person that you are talking to, doesn't like look at your account to see that the number you are changing, like s actually your number. LOL
You won't know which phone you will get until you call and ask for the replacement. Sometimes you get to keep the old phone and some times they ask for that phone to be sent back (otherwise after X number of days, they charge the phone you get sent to your account at full retail).
So you LIKE might not get to hold onto the old phone, and then again you like might.
And yes they do check to see if phones are still connected to accounts before doing anything with them. That is why so many poeple get mad when they buy a phone used from a friend or Ebay, and can't get it turned on or switched over to their name, using Sprint or Verizon because it was stolen, or has an outstanding balance connected with it.

When I bought my phone, I didnt pay for any warranty (neither from the store i bought it from, or through sprint) so do you mean I have a warranty anyways till the 1 year mark?
