A friend of mine told me that because now nextel and sprint are together switching (at least from nextel to sprint, idk about the other way) is possible without being charged an early cancellation fee. Can anyone confirm this?

Re: nextel -> sprint: cancellation fee?
Switching between Nextel and Sprint will incur no EFT,
but will re-start your contract clock back to a full two year deal.If you find this post helpful, click on bottom of each post: Like l Share

Re: nextel -> sprint: cancellation fee?
If you are going to port your number you shouldn't have any problems, otherwise if an ETF shows up on your bill you should just have to fax in a copy of your contract or first bill, and get the fee waived.
