I have had my contract with Sprint for 2 years and 11 months. It was a 2 year contract. About a year ago, my phone broke(at 1 year, 11 months). I received a used phone from a friend (not a very good one) and had it activated. Now a year later, I'm wanting a better phone, and my account is showing that I am not eligible. This does not sound right. I didn't even buy a phone from them. How can I resolve this?

Have you called to talk to someone or are you simply going by what their web site tells you? If you're out of contract, they'll give you up to $150 off on a new phone when you renew your contract for 2 more years.

I have not talked to anyone at Sprint. Their web site says I am not eligible. I actually signed up through the company my husband works for and the girl that signed me up is checking on it. I have been under the same contract for almost 3 years, but I dropped the original phone I had and it would no longer work. The girl at the company my husband works for got me a used phone to use and I think that's what they are considering. Hopefully, I'll get some good news soon.
